Business Council — will approve XXX and help move the draft law to the General Council for XXX. [GET ADVICE ON WHAT TO SAY HERE]
Will all tribes have something called a Business Council? If not, what could say more generally here about the process?

Each tribe is different, but for me, getting the drafted law on the business council’s agenda meant I needed to get the supervisor of tribal health programs involved. She (or he?) was the ultimate sponsor of the law and a representative for our Native CARS team to present our case. She (or he?) detailed our research findings, illustrating the disparities between on-reservation and off-reservation car seat use. She (or he?) also indicated that having a functioning car seat law was instrumental in achieving high rates of car seat use.
