9.1 Where Do I Start?

It depends:

•  If you’re starting from scratch, start by identifying existing car seat programs in your area. You might be able to partner with them.
• If you’re unable to receive services from an existing program, you might need to create your own child safety seat distribution program.
• Do you already have a distribution program of your own or a working partnership with a program? You might want to expand or improve a program already in place.
